The Community call for speakers for the 2008 PASS Community Summit is now Closed.

Thanks to everyone who submitted an abstract!

NOTE: The call for Speakers for Microsoft employees will be opening soon (Jully 2008 time frame). Microsoft abstracts that have already been submitted will be considered through that process. Microsoft speakers will have the opportunity to revise any abstracts that have already been submitted and add new ones.

Speakers will be notified by May 30th regarding the status of their abstract submissions.

Microsoft employees are welcome to submit their abstracts using this tool. All Microsoft submissions will be considered during the official call for Microsoft Speakers which has not yet started. Please contact CallToSpeakers @ sqlpass.org for more information.

Call to Speakers is now accepting abstracts until Midnight on April 7th, 2008 EST

We are currently experiencing a problem with the creation of new abstracts. As a result, we will be extending the deadline until end of day Monday April 7th.

We will post a new announcement when the problem is resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The problem we are experiencing is with the event dropdown not being populated and causing a problem when saving.

Call to Speakers now open!

Hi all, we had a minor issue with the displaying of Submitted Abstracts earlier today, but this has now been resolved. If you added a new Draft Abstract today but did not see it in your list, you should see it now. NO information was lost, just hidden from view.

Because of this disruption, we have extended the Call to Speakers submissions to March 31st, 2008 instead of March 29th, 2008 as previously stated!.

Just a quick reminder to all of the submitters!

Please ensure you are saving your abstracts as "Draft" often. Due to session timeouts, some people who have left their abstract forms open for long periods of time have lost their information while submitting. To ensure this does not happen, please save your abstracts often!
